Built with purpose
This end-grain cutting board is built to be used. With enough material to be resurfaced multiple times throughout its service-life this board can withstand a lifetime of use. Given the orientation of the wood fibers, end-grain boards can withstand much more abuse than side grain boards.

Boards of solid walnut were flattened and smoothed. Once cut to thickness, they were then glued using water proof FDA approved food safe glue. Cleaned of squeeze-out and sanded smooth; it was then cut to its final dimensions and edge sanded.

Wood has inherent anti-microbial properties, however it is susceptible to rot and decay if under prolonged exposure to moisture. Every board has been pre-treated prior to shipping to ensure the utmost quality upon arrival. Please visually inspect the board and lightly clean it prior to use.
